Why IEST

IEST suite of assessments are developed by highly experienced professionals in the field of Skills assessment and training, English language teaching and assessments, Psychology and Domain specialists who are international experts.

IEST is an online (computer and/or mobile) delivered test. It is administered under proctored conditions. IEST data is managed via secure servers and the data management is GDPR compliant.

IEST exams is practically an on-demand test, where a test-taker can decide on the date of the test. The test can be scheduled at the convenience of the test-takers through an authorised ‘Assessment Centre’ in the test-takers vicinity.

IEST provides instant results that are mapped to the Common International Framework of Reference (CIFR) for Future Readiness. The results provide a percentage score along with a CIFR level for each skill testes. It also provides ‘can-do’ statements for each Skill to give a clearer idea about the test-takers abilities.

In the case where Speaking, Interview, Presentation or other similar skills are to be assessed, the same is done via Video with a human examiner and at a pre-fixed date and time. Our custom built secure module ensures complete data security and is GDPR compliant.

Developed using the Common International Framework of Reference (CIFR) for Future Readiness, the IEST is the result of deep research by QAI, UK’s experts and assessment professionals.

When compared with other skills assessments, the IEST suite of tests are standardised as they are mapped to the CIFR, a standardised framework that provides analysis across six levels, from A1 (entry level) to C2 (the expert level). The achievement levels provider a clear ‘can-do’ statements at each level for standardised information about a test-taker’s achievement levels.
